I was InLaws first large project they had ever done. I knew this going in, but I started a business a few years back and I understand you have to start somewhere. I'm a mobile home hauler, and am on the road alot. After a long stint home, I noticed a few things. My back yard was incredibly lumpy, and the entire back yard is graded towards my house- which is not what is supposed to be done. It was something I discussed with them before hand too. That problem was magnified in the winter when all the snow run off froze at this obvious low point in the grade destroying the sod, and that sod was basically destroyed at end of last summer because it floods that entire area when I run the sprinklers. I started communicating with Nick about this issue. A few weeks ago, I had him meet me out at my place so we could talk man to man about these issues and what we could do to resolve it, which he was absolutely clueless on so I said, a French drain would be a good solution. We would not have to tear up the entire yard and re grade it. Again he agreed with me. I did not ask him to spend a dollar on this project -even though this is their fault. All I asked for was some sweat equity assisting me in this, which again he agreed to. After that, he quit talking to me, wouldn't answer a call, return a txt, nothing. I had my father in law coming up from Colorado to help Nick and myself, and would be done in 1 day with 3 sets of hands working but still heard nothing from them, but now with 2 people and my FIL only being avaliable for 5 to 6 hours before he had to get back to his farm there was no way so I canceled him. Finally I reach out to their Facebook page and I believe his wife runs that. She tells me he won't come outhere, they were already paid for the job, they are done. Funny thing about that, as I said I'm a trucker and am gone alot. I had a check waiting for them when they said they were done because he told me how much he was struggling and I wanted to be a good man and get him paid, but I wasn't around for any of the project so I did not inspect the work. Nick told me to my face and over message he would absolutely be there to help make this right then absolutely ignores me. If you don't plan on helping, then tell me that when we're talking man to man. Overall the work done is decent but more problems then I should be having for a 6+ thousand dollar job. I would not recommend them to an enemy, and be sure you inspect their work before paying because they will absolutely not come back after that.
