The experience was average/below average. The first few weeks went great with the project. After the 2nd payment and the house nearing completion, the owner would send his employee to do a few hours of work, every so often. We kept paying in small installments, the owner kept saying he didn't have the money to buy the next round of supplies and would not be able to go on, unless we gave more money. So now, we are 99% paid per our contract, however missing a portion of the house with siding, our brand new bathroom with patches of spackle, gutters (included on the contract & price), and interior finishing work. We are now over a year past the 5 week timeline, work began 4/13/17. There has been numerous messages & conversations, with the promise of the owner coming back to complete, or do some of the work owed, but the last meeting in person was in November 2017. The last conversation with the promise to show up to the house was a few months ago.
