Driveway cracked four weeks after pouring (a jagged vertical crack all the way down), because they didn't put vertical saw cuts in a double wide driveway. The horizontal cuts that were made were not equal distance apart and spaced too far apart according to other contractors who saw the finished project. Two of them deemed the entire project a "shitty" job. Since then, numerous horizontal cracks have appeared and the initial vertical cracks go all the way through to the dirt below. The owner says they went by the Code, but something is seriously wrong to have this many cracks in a $7,000 driveway. He refuses to make resititution.

Not recommended!
Amature formwork, resulting in chipouts, poor edges. Lack of tamping or gravel base for sidewak resulted in cracking not at the control joints. Called asking for fix and call not returned. I paid $10,000 for this job and feel I didn’t get my money’s worth.
