My experience with Integrity Painting & Design LLC was very professional. They arrived promptly and immediately started working. Chris has excellent communication skills and was very considerate of my time throughout all phases of the project. The following work was completed: The exterior brick of the chimney was repaired & stuccoed; the bricks of the rear door jams & threshold was repaired & stuccoed; the slab on the exterior front steps were reset; the framing of 2 rear windows were secured and covered with plywood; the rear basement window was replastered. The work was completed ahead of schedule and everything was cleaned up afterwards. Chris was definitely a pleasure to work with and I’ve already referred him to some family & friends. I’ll undoubtedly hire them for other projects in the future. Buildzoom, thank you for the referral!

Christopher was very prompt in responding to emails or texts, and seemed to be very well organized. Overall he was easy to deal with and did a very good job installing engineered hardwood floors in two bedrooms in a townhouse. My only minor criticism is that the border between the rug on the stairs and the beginning of the engineered hardwood flooring could have been installed better. Overall I highly recommend them.

Chris is a super nice guy. Prompt and professional but the work Chris and his team do is mediocre. Had to check everything for flaws (which there were many). I hire him and his team to put up drywall and finish spackling, needless to say I had to check it his work and make him do it again. In the end I ended up finishing up a lot of fine details because they missed a lot. But over a okay work. If you get Chris to work on your house that's great but his other employees are not that good. So just be aware

Hired him to finish a construction around my house that would take other guys weeks. He was professional, prompt and very understanding. He knew that my other contractor was hurt and that I had already spent more than I wanted too so he gave me a really good price. His work was also good. He is knowledgeable and treats your house like his. His crew is also very professional. I would definitely hire him again for my other jobs. Great work!

I hired Chris and his crew for a full demo bathroom remodel in June 2019. Though there were some hiccups and mess-ups along the way, his efforts earned enough for me to hire him again to do another full bathroom remodel in November 2019. I also plan on hiring him to design and install a new patio in my backyard in 2020.
The main negatives:
Some of Chris’ crew are not the most skilled and are obviously newer to home renovation. There were a handful of significant mistakes with the first remodel because of their lack of experience. Also, there were some detail-oriented aspects (primarily with the first job) that were notable. Both projects took longer than initially indicated. If you are looking to upgrade a multi-million-dollar home, have an unlimited budget, and have super high-end expectations, perhaps hire someone else, like Chip and Joanna Gaines. Otherwise, let’s take a look at the upsides.
The excess of positives:
• Chris is just a good guy – very trustworthy and full of integrity. He alone is the reason I decided to hire his company again for job 2 – and the upcoming job 3.
• Chris is a thorough and patient teacher. Project 1 took a bit longer than anticipated because he clearly had a few guys that needed quite a bit of oversight. His willingness and ability to mentor his crew is admirable. By the way, the skill of his crew improved markedly for job 2.
• Whatever mistakes were made at any point in either project, Chris made sure to go above and beyond to ensure that we were happy. Chris was willing to come by at all hours if needed to remedy any issues we had.
• Among the most affordable contractors we encountered. Not the cheapest, but far from the most expensive.
• Punctual and quick to respond with calls or texts. Excellent communication at all times.
• Open to feedback.
• Flexible in all manners, including scheduling.
• All of his crew were super polite and courteous.
• Though both projects took longer than anticipated – that’s a very common occurrence with renovation. IN the end, the jobs got done, and we were happy.
• I would also add that our 1959 house is rather quirky, and some of the issues we had probably would have occurred with other contractors as well.
In sum, I’d highly recommend Chris Gibson to anyone looking for painting, design, or various types of home renovation. I plan on using him as a point of first contact for other projects going forward, and I’d encourage others to give him a try.
