RUN THE OTHER WAY: I pre-paid Nick Stanley a deposit of $23,500 for a drainage and retaining wall protection system to prevent a basement from leaking. A project that was supposed to last a few weeks turned into a 6 months nightmare and after multiple attempts, Nick never got the drain system or wall protection working. He'd abandon the job for weeks at a time, citing all kinds of personal excuses 1) he was on vacation, 2) his crew went to Mexico for Christmas, 3) he had a heart attack and was in the hospital 4) his daughter was in a car accident 5) he celebrates Italian calendar Christmas which goes well into January 6) his crew had stomach issues, 7) he had other jobs that were more important. So, if you are the gullible type, let him take your money, but don't expect results. He also put in a cement walkway that cracked within 3 weeks and he never finished installing our gas meter from PG&E who said he didn't have the requisite qualifications to do the work. I ended up having to sue Nick to recover the money we paid. Hard lesson learned on paying anything up front. Nick will take your money and run.

Nick paved me a new driveway and 500 feet of road leading to my house. All I can say is WOW. He did a better job than expected. The asphalt is perfect and he went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right. If you need any paving done and do not want to spend a fortune, use Interstate Paving & Construction
