Georgia A Ribeiro
Owner
Jeff Riberio helped us with a kitchen remodel. We thought it was odd when he brought just a few samples to our house for us to choose flooring, cabinets, backsplash, etc. His quote seemed reasonable, we thought everything was going well. It took longer than we had been promised, but Georgia was pregnant and hurricane was coming, so rather than finish the job they took two weeks off to ride out the hurricane in Columbia. Finally finished, more than twice the original quote, paid them just happy to finally be done. Three months later, a leak between new plumbing and old caused the entire kitchen to have to be redone. Jeff and subcontractors ripped out my new kitchen. They broke every piece of porcelain tile from the floors and put them in the dumpster. They broke my granite upon removing it from the cabinets. One of the cabinets was ruined from the pipes the plumber left leaking after the original gushing leaks had been capped off. Jeff insisted on being paid for the entire job of ripping out AND RESTORING the kitchen. I had worked with him just 3 months prior, I trusted him, I paid him. I never saw him again. I'm out not just the amount he overcharged me in the first place, I'm out the $16,650 I paid him to fix my kitchen back to how it was, plus the cost of another granite top, plus the cost of the new floor, plus my husband and I had to be our own contractors. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They overcharged me, they flat out stole from me, and when we went to an attorney it turned out there were already several judgements against them from other clients who had had similar experiences. None of the judgements has been paid to the clients who sued, but these people keep in business. If you hire them and they don't cheat you, I'll be surprised.
