    HVAC repair and recharge
    $2,000

Wish I could leave them 0 stars. There is not time in a day to convey the absolute terrible level of professionalism I got from them. I paid them thousands of dollars to fix my AC unit and recharge the lines only for it to break a month later. It takes them over two weeks to come out each time and when they do, it's always the most inconvenient time and they won't work with you. Each time they said everything was fine and that I just don't know what I'm talking about even though the AC wasn't working. They flat out turned my system off for a week and refused to come back until they decided it was convenient for them even though they hadn't fixed the system the first few times. I had to have them come out 6 separate times and finally I decided to just hire another company to go out and do the work, and they said that Island Breeze never charged the system or replaced the parts they were supposed to. And then island breeze refused to go back and do the agreed upon work saying it wasn't part of our agreement. They just flat out took my money and didn't do their job and refused to help even to point that they rudely mocked me over the phone when I told them to do their jobs. Avoid this company at all costs. They are rude, unprofessional, expensive and don't even do the agreed upon work.

    HVAC
    $1,200

Sent by American Home Shield (AHS) the Island Breeze technician came to our home and completely ignored our Nest's digital reading that our units pan was full of water and that the relief pipe needed to be drained.

They went about not addressing that issue and instead came up with a huge $1,200 plus bill for me to add 6 lbs of coolant, etc. NOT covered by AHS.

I just so happened to have a friend/electrician walk into my non-air-conditioned house and fix the problem right away by just draining the water out of the pan with our shop vac.

I asked AHS for a second opinion...they sent Comfort First, who was AMAZING. The new tech agreed with the Nest's first diagnosis, the pan was full and needed to be emptied. Additionally, they actually dug out the blocked pipe on the outside of the house...something Island Breeze was too LAZY to even do.
