    We can't thank Lance and his Island Way Pools' team enough for the amazing pool, spa, and patio they built for us! We are so happy we chose Island Way Pools, instead of another leading competitor. It is refreshing to work with a business that takes great pride in their work and actually cares about working with their customer. We cannot tell you how easy and seamless it was to work with every crew at Island Way Pools. Everything from product to design was top notch and no details were overlooked with his team. Even if we wanted to make changes during construction, Lance's experienced teams could execute them on the spot. We highly recommend Island Way Pools!

    DO NOT use this company. They started my pool about a year ago and it was finished in early 2020. To date, my permit is still not closed. I have made multiple attempts to contact them, with no response. Based on my contract I had a warranty and there are multiple items that still need to be fixed. I also paid to have a pergola done, paid upfront about $40K and they never did it. I decided to work with another company due to the fact of the issues that I had with them. The owner kept my money and said that "change orders" ate it up. Well, I never signed 1 change order. I highly recommend not using them. If they make it right I will change my review.

    9 months and can't get issues resolved. Pool design and what we got were 2 different things. They promise everything but can't follow thru. Waterfall and jets were not what we agreed on. Having issues with equipment and now being told that we could have to pay for service even when it should still be under warranty. Do use this company, you will be extremely disappointed. They are extremely unprofessional. They will give you run around once they get your money. Check out other reviews if you don't believe me.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - BEWARE!
    First of all, I gave this company CASH in August of 2016 - their sales guy Butch told me that they would have my pool done and ready to swim in it in 6-8 weeks - 12 weeks "worst case scenario". They didn' even come out until mid to late September to lay the silt fence down of which it failed three times for because this company does not know how to put one up. I personally found out that I had to cover the silt fence to the line with dirt and went and did it myself. When we had the contract written, I paid for additional tiles to be installed on my sunshelf, steps, and in-water seating area as marker tiles. We also, upon selecting our finishes in the showroom, asked if we could get cobalt blue pebbles in the mix and Butch said they would handle that as a change order. Here we go. It took 5 times to re-do my Shell-lock pavers to just get the step height to pass. in order to pass, they had to move my drain line out to where you wank on it instead of against the front face of the bottom step. The City failed us several times for this. They sent the same crew out over and over to do this work to make my tiles look somewhat decent. A majority of my pool job was pavers and this is the WORSE TILE JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! They also show up and never call and never show when they say they will - so you are pretty much a hostage in your home - waiting to see if they will do the work correctly. They put the mix in my pool and hand cut the wwall tiles so that there are two rough edges and put them as marker tiles - mind you, this is where people put their feet and sit on!!!! They are rough and uneven. Every time they sent the tile guys back out, the would destroy my bran new lanai screen that is caked with stone dust and formed like a concrete - Island Way also did the lanai work. They destroyed my outdoor TV, crashed in to the corner of my house knocking off my stucco down to the base of the house, wrecked my outdoor plumbing fixture which they still have not yet patched up the hole from where they had to drill in to my house to try and fix. They broke my new lanai screen door, AND HERE's THE BEST - THEY WANTED 100% PAYMENT IN FULL PRIOR TO THEM COMPLETING THE WORK! They have not come and fixed any of my pavers to this day a year and a half later!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They want their $2,600 balance and yet did more damage and destruction to my property that what I owe! The pool pump broke 3 times now and they caked up my pool and filters with more stone dust/concrete! If I Could give them less than one star I would! Then they threaten that they are going to put a lien on my house. I hope they do so that I can hire an attorney to go after them as I need all of the pavers redone!!! Make sure you get a copy of their insurance BEFORE they begin so that you can use that as recourse later to have your personal property replaced and repaired.
