Considered for Pool and Spa Construction

I thought I had gotten a good price for the install. I was told that the excessive amount of sand placed underneath was necessary to support the pool only to find out from other professionals that it wasn’t necessary at all and that the sand would eventually collapse. So now I have to hire someone else to come and fix their mistakes

Response from Israel Construction August 12, 2021
It's sad to receive a bad review when we deliver everything that was agreed. At first, Brian photographed the backyard to install his pool and emphasized its moderate level. I advised to build a barrier around the sand in many cases, but the client insisted he didn't want it. In his review, Brian pointed out that he "had gotten a good price for the install." That was true because he opted out of a containing wall to hold the sand (as discussed on our first call and agreed in our submitted bid and signed contract). As an alternative, I strongly suggested planting grass to avoid the sand from being washed away. Furthermore, the sand we used wasn't excessive as we evened up the sand floor, and one end meets the grass at grade level. Also, we barely used half of the sand the last contractor sold him. Therefore, we used the necessary amount required to make it safe and level. Briand averred that now he "[has] to hire someone else to come and fix their mistakes." However, the client didn't pay us to build a containing wall. All he'll spend now is to do what he decided not to do in the beginning. This liability, hence, does not lie on us.

    Decks and Porches project

They installed the railings and pillars on my side porch. The old ones were in very bad condition. They were very prompt, efficient and pleasant to work with. The job was better than I expected and the price was reasonable. They cut and installed every piece of wood.
