    BEWARE --I don't want this to happen to anyone else --James, initially,we thought was going to be a great guy and trustworthy contractor --we were so wrong !!
    We hired him to build a deck for us around a pool -- he started out by coming late everyday to the job and with different workers because, he said, his initial crew went to jail. We went back day after day talking to him about starting on time and getting things done --he had excuse after excuse
    Then to make everything worse --he insisted that he bought our materials with the large deposit (which he insisted on) that we gave him -- He never ordered anything --I called the company he supposedly used and they had nothing ordered for us. James actually gave us a FAKE INVOICE with the materials listed. And then never came back! He wanted more money to continue, which I would not give him. Bottom line is that James Callei stole our money and never came close to finishing the job !! we trusted him and he completely duped us !!
    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE and NEVER use James Callei for anything !!!

    Porch columns and railing tops replacement

    I received quotes from a total of 4 contractors to replace the porch's columns and railing tops on the deck of my house.
    First, James' quote was not the lowest or highest of the 4 so I selected his company to preform the work. From the beginning, James kept me informed as to when he planned on starting the work and throughout the process to final completion. He completed the job as stated and took pride in the work up through the final inspection by the City. I am giving 5 stars in the fact he communicated what he stated and completed the job in the amount of time he initially indicated. I am pleased with the workmanship of the work he preformed.
    I would hire James & Son's Construction in the future.
