  Please learn from my mistake and stay away. Mr. Cardenas will charm you with the nice guy act, and will lure you in with a low price. I urge you to save your money and go with someone else. The savings that you might assume you're getting will very soon disappear, due to the extremely low workmanship and non-existent customer service. Of course, once you start experiencing issues from his poor quality work, you will call him to honor his guarantee. He will not show up, he will lie and promise to show up, but he never will. Then you'll have no options but to hire another company and pay whatever you have to in order to get your roof repaired. The same roof that was newly done by J Cardenas Roofing.

  Mr. Cardenas did our roof in June of last year, we had the roof redone because we were having a few reoccurring leaks that repairs weren't enough to fix them permanently. We showed him the issues before he quoted us, and he assured us that after he completely re-do our roof our issues will be a thing of the past.

  We got rain 2 days after the job was completed, the roof leaked from all , literally all, the same old spots. At that point he was still owed the second half of the payment, so of course he had no choice but to show up when we called him. You'd think he'll be apologetic and fix the issues right away. You'd be very wrong ! He showed up, looked at the leaks, and simply said that these leaks require something additional to what he did in order to get fixed. So, he wanted us to pay him more money in order to fix the same old leaks that were the reason we hired him in the first place ! The audacity of some people has no limits.

  Forward 9 months from the completion of the job that is supposed to be under warranty for 5 years. We started getting leaks form new places in the middle of the roof, we called Mr. Cardenas to honor his warranty and fix the issues with his own work. Being the honorable and dignified person that he is, he promised to show up, never did. He stopped answering our calls , that was the end of it. We hired another company to fix his work and everything we have "saved" by using him we ended up paying in folds.

  I hope my review will save you from falling in the same trap we did. At the time of this review there were no other reviews, so don't be fooled by glowing reviews that will start magically appearing in the coming few days to cover up the truth.
