Ruined my $6 per square foot bamboo floors by using a finish nailer instead of the 18 gauge floor nailer required. His idea of fixing gaps so large a quarter could stand was stuffing the gap with filler. He didn't have the tools to put up my pocket doors which I gave him the instructions to when he came and gave me the estimate. The drywall job was so bad that it started to cave in and needed to be done. The cuts he did for the baseboard are so bad that they have to be completely replaced. Bottom line he was very receptive to providing quotes, but he clearly bit off more than he could chew and his poor quality is going to cost me more to replace and repair the work he did. I tried resolving this issue with no luck. Now I'm left with a house with bamboo floors that look awful and are irreparable, drywall patches, installed drywall that hasn't been spackled and pocket doors that are not functional. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
