JF Hughes is one of the best contractors I’ve ever known. I have used them for several projects. I was immediately impressed with the their ability to identify and plan for very intricate details of my architects designs. They suggested and made on the fly adjustments that very much improved the quality of the build tenfold. I could not be more happy with the final result of their construction. And the best part is the owner was available and responsive to all of my questions and concerns throughout the process. Highly recommend.

I hired JFH to install new wood flooring throughout my cooperative apartment, install crown moldings and perform other punch lists tasks. The timeline was tight and my budget was tighter. JFH outperformed all expectations. The project was completed on time and UNDER budget. I'll certainly recommend them to all of my friends and family in New York.

I highly , highly, highly recommend JF Hughes Builder and the company owner, Brian. I don't necessarily recommend him and his company for their work - they didn't do any work in my condo. I highly recommend them for their integrity and honesty. I was referred to Brian by a neighbor who had used them and loved his work. I wanted him to gut renovate my kitchen. This was my first renovation ever - I'm 82 years old and retired. Brian told me I would need plans from an architect or designer for him to work. Brian supplied me with 3 architects. We went back and forth for a couple of weeks. I did tell him though that I had an urgent need for a dishwasher. The one I had was broken. Brian purchased and installed the new dishwasher for me while we were still in discussion over the plans and design. He did not ask me for ANY money at all. Ultimately, I could not make a decision about various features I wanted for my kitchen. Brian very nicely told me that I should try using a different contractor. We parted our ways from there. I applaude him for his due diligence and for not charging me for the dishwasher nor its installation. He showed me nothing but respect and patience for me and my needs and concerns. You don;t find that often out here anymore.

I used Brian and JF Hughes to build my second restaurant a few years ago. I'm a bit late in my entry here, but I wanted to give him credit for an amazing job done. It's 4 years later and we have no problems with the work done, craftsmanship, etc.

We used JF Hughes Builders for our Soho loft and our project ended up in a magazine. They are not necessarily the cheapest company in the market, but the results speak for themselves. If you are looking to get results and professionalism, I highly recommend JF Hughes Builders. My family and I are most pleased with the end results. Most importantly, the quality of their work is top notch and their service is excellent.

Amazing contractor!! We are using him for another project. He renovated our first town home. We are using him to renovate two townhouses we just purchased. I first used Hughes based upon a recommendation from a former business partner who used Hughes to build his restaurant.
