Jose Cardoso the general contractor started work on my kitchen remodel sept 2023. He still has not finished (August 2024) and I still have a gaping hole in the floor where the water damage began . This was the reason for the remodel in the first place. The cabinets are finished (different cabinet maker)and everything else in the kitchen is finished except this area in front of the sink. Not only is it unsightly …. It’s dangerous because the floor boards are missing and someone could trip also the cabinet maker cannot finish the bottom of the cabinets until the floor is finished. Jose has stopped taking my calls, sends me directly to voice mail and doesn’t answer my texts. I don’t know why he will not finish the floor because he doesn’t communicate. This is totally unprofessional.
