    Repair a slab leak
    $3,000

Stay away from this company. They were sent to repair a slab leak through my home warranty company. Not only did they string it along for 6 weeks before finally coming to do the job, but they caused $2,000 worth of damage to my homes structure, then abandoned the job and said they couldn't do it, and have completely ignored me ever since.
The plumber decided on the spot to go about the job differently than what was planned and hammered all the way through my stem wall, all the way through my wall! Plus a big hole in the slab, and never even made any repair.
I understand that things happen, but the fact that they are not doing the right thing and taking care of their mistake, is unacceptable! I already had to hire a competent plumber to come fix the leak the correct way, and now I'm out another $2,000 to fix this damage they caused.
This is a very unprepared, unprofessional, and incompetent Plumbing business. I think the only way they make money is through these home warranty calls. But unless it's a minor repair, do not let these people inside your home! You will regret it.
I am currently getting legal advice because unfortunately it looks like that's the only way to get them to fix this. The plumber was negligent in making that bad decision even though there had been a leak locator who marked exactly where the leak was, but also a breach of contract because they abandoned the job after putting a hole through the side of my house.
Stay away! And please don't ever let anyone you know allow them anywhere near your Plumbing.

Bulter was a fantastic technician. He came out and stopped my husband and me from doing an unnecessary job. He is reliable and honest. I highly recommend them.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this company. I submitted a request to my home warranty (Old Republic) for a broken garbage disposal (it appears to be an original disposal, so +15 years old, and the screw / blade are clearly rusted) and J&L Plumbing was sent to my house as the service provider. Anthony was the name of the J&L technician that arrived, he spent less than five minutes at my house took two photos of the broken garbage disposal blade, the part that needed to be replaced had to be authorized by my home warranty company and that he needed to collect the $75 service fee now and he'd be back in 24 - 48 hours once he received authorization to fix the garbage disposal. Well, that never happened. Why? Because J&L Plumbing is running a FRAUD SCHEME. They collect the $75 trade call / service fee and then submit a completely false claim to your home warranty knowing the claim will be denied, thus they don't have to perform any actual work and get to keep the $75, not a bad business model. I've attempted multiple times to call / text the technician and company and they don't answer nor return my messages. Read the other reviews, this a not a one off, it's a pattern. If your home warranty company sends J&L Plumbing, LLC do not allow them on your property and request another plumbing service provider.

Alex called to let me know he was on his way. He was very polite and put a new wax ring on in very short time, which stopped the leak under our house. I was very pleased with his work.

    Bathroom sink leak
    $60

Mike is awesome!! Very professional, on time, and very smart. He gets the job done. We are seriously very impressed with how everything went. Our bathroom sink was leaking and he got everything fixed right away. He explained why it was leaking and what he did to fix it. Also showed us where to turn off our water in case we needed to for emergencies. I learned a lot. I'm definitely calling this company and requesting Mike for any future plumbing issues.

    leak

Sent out by my Home Warranty Company. Called and had someone out in less than 45 mins. Excellent response. Was here about 5 mins, never looked at the leak, said the ceiling would have to be removed due to the water damage before he could look. Said he would come back on Monday after ceiling was dried out. Monday came, I called him and left a text message for him. No response. I tried calling the office, no answering machine or service, phone just rings. Web site lists their hours as 7am to 7pm, when I finally got an answer at the business, it was to a machine, stating their hours are 8am - 5pm. I left a message, no response as of Tuesday 7pm. I tried their email address that is listed, comes back as invalid.

I spoke Tuesday evening to the person that came out on Friday. He was very rude, said I need to give them a chance to call back. He said he can't come out until scheduled. When I told him of the messages, etc I had left, he said "he is the victim here" and was not going to tolerate it, then hung up.

    Such horrible service.

    Water heater

Sent by my home Warantee company. Water heater issue. The plumber was wrong. Stated needed replacement. Blew out his meter by incorrect use and claimed it was the water heater. Leaves Friday and says coming back Monday to retest. I’m the meantime my garage and inside of my house flooded and remediation and restoration is in progress set up by a ligit company that actually found the real issue. There was never anything wrong with the water heater. And my house was flooded because of this technicians incompetence. Steer clear!

They literally told us that tall electric water heaters are not made anymore. They recommended we demolish a wall in order to put in “the only size water heater still made”. Fortunately I called Home Depot and they replaced the water heater same day. Lowe’s probably does the same. J and L is a scam no other way to put it.

    Plumbing

Not professional at all. Showed up in a white T-shirt...no markings that they were with the company or a company. Tools were outdated I would not consider myself a handyman, but I have better tools. The guy wore no shoe protection. So we had a leaky toilet wax ring was broken....before this company came out they said we needed a restoration company....WTF before they had seen the issue....the guy took off the toilet ...we had poop all over the floor he tracked it in the house. I have pictures .....and at first said "you need a restoration company" said he could not put the toilet back on...demanded he be put back on which it was after he called his manager!
It was put back on incorrectly and he took our white caps you cover for the screws because he had set it in with new screws that were 3 inches high!!! So we were left with no caps poop all over and a mess. This was through Choice Warranty...we made a complaint....next the BBB...and need to warn what a scam this company is. We had to hire our own plumber what a difference everything done with complete proffesionalism. The real kicker this place asked for a tip before screwing up!
