    DO NOT HIRE!!! I hired this guy to build a new house. He promised it would be complete in 5-6 months. I fired him 8 months in. The house still did not have utilities on, and he was already putting in cabinets, flooring, etc. which we are now having problems with. All of the concrete he poured is cracking out and needs to be redone among tons of other issues with the house. I have spent over $50,000 finishing the home and correcting his mistakes. His J Meadows Development license is currently revoked due to a judgement against him. But he will probably open up another company soon.

    I wish I had seen this post prior to using him. I found out in the middle of the job when the Milton City inspector halted his work that he was unlicensed and uninsured. This was in Feb 2017. He was attempting to remodel my master bath. It was a disaster. The thinks he's an engineer. Did you know water flows uphill? That's what it would have had to do in order to get away from my wall. No waterproofing..I didn't know it was "optional". UGH. Do not hire this guy. Disaster waiting to happen. He says he is licensed but it had expired. I think he's since had it renewed. No workers comp. He will say he has things....stall on getting them...and hope the person forgets or the job is done before he produces the documents. I'd make sure I had valid documents in hand before I let him build anything.

    I would give a zero if I could!!!! DO NOT USE "JAKE MEADOWS ...DBA meadows development LLC, or J. Meadows development & Construction LLC" , This guy is uninsured and not a licensed contractor, his business license was revoked at the time until last week . He caused over $60,000 of damage to my house, and even though he was paid more that the entire contracted price, he stopped coming to work for 5 weeks. I was told my addition would take less than 2 months (in march 2014) and ended up hiring another contractor to finish after 5 months of my house not being dried in. He did go and get another business license after I fired him.8/27/14.
