Jon Montes was one of the first responders of six different companies that I looked at for my roofing project. He arrived at the time we agreed upon and was very professional about his proposal. After reviewing all of the proposals, I selected J. Montes not only because he had the best pricing, but seemed to be more responsive than the other companies to all of my questions. J. Montes, Inc. installed a Certainteed Architectural Shingle roof with ridge vents, covering up of all old louvre vents and 4 skylights and re-installation of two skylights. Special attention was requested of the skylights, chimney and flat roof area near chimney. Ice and water shield product was applied to all appropriate areas. Aluminum pipe collars were used to replace existing pipe collars.I had a bad experience with a roofer recently, therefore, quality of work and follow through were very important to me in my selection. I felt I could trust J. Montes and I agreed to have him do the job.His crew promptly arrived on the day of the job and commenced work. They were very professional and hard working, and completed the job in approximately two days (I have a big roof). The quality of the work was outstanding and the roof turned out great!After completing the roof, they did a thorough job of cleaning the premises of all debris. I still have not found any nails or other items on the ground since the job.During Hurricane Sandy, we experienced a small leak near the chimney. I called Jon on Monday, October 29th during the height of the storm, and he arrived two hours later to look at it. Due to the high winds, some flashing has detached from the chimney, and water was leaking in. He was able to quickly fix the problem and stem the leak. I was highly impressed with his dedication to customer service even on as miserable of a day as we experienced on that Monday.I highly recommend J. Montes for your roofing job not only for the quality of the original work, but his dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction.
