J&N Roofing

After another contractor bungled our roof repair leading to water leaking into our back porch soffits, we called several roofing companies to get the work repaired. J&N Roofing was the only one willing to do the work and not try to talk us into a new roof. Their guy came out and did a great job fixing all of the problems. Our roof now looks great and repels water like it should. We will certainly call them when we are ready to have the replacement roof done in a few years.

J&N did the roof on our detached garage. We're in a townhome, so there are 11 other identical roofs on our street. After less than seven months, our roof has the most pooling and looks worse than any other roof on the street--and it's the newest! To make matters worse, the paint job on the flashing is already peeling and needs to be redone. I would not recommend J&N Roofing to anyone for anything.

I recently purchased a condo and the seller contacted J&N roofing to repair some gutter flashing that we found missing during our pre-closing walk thru. As it turned out, there was a roof leak problem that was not related to the missing flashing. It wasn't obvious until a bad snow storm that caused significant ice build up on my roof and in the gutters. As the new owner, I didn't have a prior business relationship with Doug, but when i called for help with the leak he made 2 trips back out to check the flashing then again to find the roof problem. Even though the leak repair was not part of his original bid, he was willing to come fix the roof as a gesture of good faith. I will definitely recommend his services to our HOA.

We have a 9,000 sq. foot ultra-lite tile roof that is very complex. 12 years after it was installed several leaks appeared. The original contractor could not determine the source of the leaks nor could two other contractors that we called on to help. I contacted J&N via a personal recommendation. Doug came out and did a thorough analysis inside and then proceeded to find the source of the leaks outside and fixed them. This was real detective work. We were impressed with his professionalism, skill and understanding. We have called J&N with every roofing problem we have had since, including a major one that we are dealing with now. The original tile roof on our house is no longer in production so that matching replacement tile with the existing roof is a real issue. J&N is our roofing specialist of choice and we recommend J&N with enthusiasm and confidence.

Since then I have had two more repair needs (non of their work, just the original construction) and each of the three times I have used them they have been prompt, courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. I have recommended them in the past and, assuming they work in the future like they have in the past, I'll continue to recommend them and use them when I need work done.
