Horrible job..had to ask him to leave the job. First he gave me a 2 week estimate timeline, but according to him the tile came in broken so we had to wait for Lowes to get some sent here from another store OK understandable, next I had shown him what I wanted and how I expected it to look, after he put down several tiles I visited my home to see if he had started, wasn't happy because it wasn't anything like the picture or what we had discussed. I contacted the person he said would be my point of contact which I thought was odd but being a busy businessman I said Ok and I knew her from church which made me feel comfortable. She in turn contacted him and he gave an explanation and assured me that when he finished grouting it would be right...well it doesn't but it looked fine. Well fast forward to asking him to do another project while he was here is where the problem started First he put a bathroom cabinet in my kitchen! He claims that the store didn't have a kitchen cabinet..
REALLY! But how do you make the decision to sub a major part of my kitchen job and not let me know? Now we are way pass the 2 weeks let's try 2 months. We kept going back and forward about the counter tops. He was sending pictures but I couldn't tell what or how the thing looked. Every heard of samples? His intention was to put in a unfinished bathroom cabinet, hook up the sink and leave my kitchen totally unfinished! He said that was all the contract called for! WHAT? who would have you take out a finished kitchen and replace it with plain cabinets? At this point we are heading into 3 months and he was no way finished with my floors and definitely not done with my kitchen cabinets I told my contract person I didn't want him to do anything else he had gotten all but $200 of the $8,200 job. Well back to the wood-look porcelain tile floor he was doing for me well as I'm putting my house back together after I had to hire another guy to finish my kitchen that he did in 6 days I am finding several areas where tile was left off. A small piece is needed inside my closet of my hot water heater, behind my bedroom doors piece is needed to go all the way to the trim, bathroom linen closet he didn't do at all and OH my the high and low tiles all through the house some I tripped because the heel of my shoe caught the rise. It is so poorly done it pitiful. I have contacted him several times for my receipts and the extra tiles and he said he was bringing it but a month later I still don't have the receipts for tile, or cabinets he said the deposit was to be used for. My new kitchen contractor believe and so do I now that he didn't purchase cabinets for my job he used some he had and I wouldn't have a problem with that if they was actually kitchen cabinets not a bathroom with left hand cubes drawers and the doors not lining up evenly and the fact he tells me the store was out ...smh sorry but I would not recommend him.
