J_spy is an architecture and design firm, founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Jason Shannon and Paola Yañez. Jason and Paola met in architecture school at Carnegie Mellon University back in 1998, and have worked in the NYC area since 2003.
J_spy offers full-service architecture and design solutions. Our practice has experience with apartment renovations, townhouse renovations, and ground up residential; additionally, we have expanded to office and restaurant design and will continue to grow our firm as we actively seek out new design opportunities.
We believe that J_spy's strength is taking a client’s program and interpreting it into a design that is functional, and at the same time, an inventive design that creates a timeless space with a clean, modern aesthetic. We also have built our firm around the golden rule of customer service and treat our clients how we wish to be treated.
