We hired Jack Duke Corp. to do a major renovation for my home located in East Dover Toms River.
I had seen their work and craftsmanship in my sister's home. She had purchased a home in Holiday City that Jack Duke Corp flipped and we liked a lot of the touches and detail they put into her home. So I reached out to them - as well as two other contractors we found on Home Advisor - to get estimates and drawings on a new design for our Master Bedroom, Master bath, Master closet, and re-designed hall bath and laundry room. Jack Duke beat the other two in both overall design (new floor plan) and project cost.Jackie did an amazing job designing the project and Chris was excellent to work with on the execution. Chris stopped by the project everyday was easily reach-able. He answered every single question and returned every single phone call. Rob (the project manager) was also excellent and very responsive. Overall, all the workers were polite, respectful of our property, trust worthy, clean, and did excellent work. What's more - everyone arrived as promised. If Chris or Rob said the plumber would be there at 9 AM tomorrow - he was there. The tile guy, the sheet rock guy. the painters, etc. We never ever waited for anyone who didn't show up. That means a lot. This was a six week project - I really have to say - we can't really point to "down time" or wasted time that occurred. Things moved along well, the crew knew their role, their job and how to complete it. About two weeks into the project, my husband and I said to each other "Thank God we selected Jack Duke for the project". It was clear to us Chris and Jackie know what they were doing as they executed the project flawlessly and ethically.
We've been enjoying the home for a few months now and thrilled with all the work and the results. I would absolutely recommend them. What a pleasure they were to work with and what a nice feeling to know there are still quality craftsman with high ethics and standards out there in the world.

We bought a house from Jack Duke in Oct of 2016. Due to the fall weather we could not test the air conditioner or the sprinkler system. When spring came the AC checked out ok. The sprinkler system however was lacking with a busted up timer. They sent their guy and replaced the timer but the backyard zone did not work well. During this summer it started to fail in other zones. Upon calling to ask for them to repair it at their cost they refused. Mind you we also had to get them to replace the windows on the one side of the house.(4 ).They all leaked into the house. Also the electrical panel was obsolete and after mentioning that they replaced it. The roof leaked around the chimney and they fixed that. The hardwood floors started to pop up and they replaced that. All in all most of the problems were addressed but they refused to pay for the sprinkler system. We feel they should have since we payed FULL asking price plus $50 for the home. We were also told by neighbors that the house was broken into during construction and 2 ceiling fans were stolen. They were replaced by cheaper white ones that do not match the living room. The front porch had severe cracks and it took their painters 4 months to repair and repaint it. They left the leftover paint for us in a coffee can and plastic wrap as a lid. My suggestion to anyone else who is considering buying a house from this builder is to get a signed agreement on all electrical and mechanical to be covered for at least 1 year especially if you are paying full price for the home.

Chris flipped our home inside and out. We love it and often are asked by strangers as to who did our home. I’ve invited people to see inside and they are truly wowed! Chris and Jackie make ugly homes into the best home on the street!
