Jerry Jackson
Trusted them to do repairs on my home. But this was a huge mistake. My experience with them was TERRIBLE. To be short...They had no idea what they were doing. Did not meet code when repaired and had to pay another contractor to re mediate properly. Just to name a few of the many problems. They removed the moisture barrier at the bottom of the exterior stud wall, and did NOT replace. This is what keeps the stud wall from rotting should water intrusion happen to the outer sheathing and is CODE. They also cut away the flashing underneath the power and breaker boxes and did NOT replace. This is also CODE. They moved the dryer vent and angled it downward into house, so that when it rained, water would have entered the house via the dryer. They didn't even cut the hole properly and it was all jagged. They messed up every bit of vinyl siding they took off. They faced nailed it and nailed the nailing strip tight to the wall. Consequently under 70-75 degree weather it started buckling and fracturing along diff pieces. They didn't cut sheathing away cleanly and had gaps all along the pieces they supposedly replaced. They were supposed to replace all sheathing along exterior wall, but they left rotted section and lied about it. They shot two nails in both drain line and copper water supply line, and flooded my porch. If I had not seen it, it would have gone on for a week, due to being out of town. They didn't even insulate several sections even though I had paid for materials. They actually TOOK my own paint and sheetrock mud, along with expensive paint and acted like they didn't know. I HAVE NEVER had a contractor STEAL outright from me. Tape was sticking out of the mud and not fixed. Nails also were raised enuf to see in drywall. They cut my cabinets to fit them back in , when it was their work that didn't meet reasonable expectations. They were supposed to replace a kitchen cabinet, and all they did was cut out the side, put in cheap thin plywood and then painted with LATEX paint, which bled right thru, AND i told them upfront that cab were painted with white SW pro classic OIL based paint. They sprayed my entire kitchen with drywall mud, when doing ceiling, and didn't even bother to clean it up, consequently, it ruined the flawless finish i had on them. They had sheetrock dust all over my house, and just left it that way. They were supposed to demo the counter tops and they broke my cook top, and they nearly destroyed my downdraft vent, which costs over 1500 for the vent alone! I could go on, but you get the point. NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. NEVER USE THEM!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!. Jerry Jackson has no ethics when he calls himself a contractor. HE has no clue what he is doing, nor do his men. I am totally disgusted at them and if they had any decency, they would refund all the money i gave them. I would not trust one house they worked on, nor any flips he has done. They clearly are short cutting and lying to people. Jackson even had the nerve to suggest this was my fault! I ask, you Jerry Jackson....WHO DID THE BID, WHOSE PPL WORKED ON IT< WHOSE NAME IS THE COMPANY. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE!!! YOU YOU YOU and no one else! Its clear he is shirking his responsibilities and I will let everyone know they should steer clear of this shyster!!! he and his crew are thieves!!!
