No I would not recommend him. I had to have the work redone at cost. He was referred by American home shield

I have used Jocob’s a few times. Never again. First service was 5 Stars, incredibly knowledgeable and did fantastic work at a fair price. Referred to friends and coworkers and got several bad reports of service by my referral and I was completely puzzled. But then on my second plumbing job with Jacobs thing became more clear, I’m fairly certain not everything was done correctly other than ‘going through the motions’ to make it like it was done, based on having to redo the work that was done, it was not done correctly. Some work was expensive for what the job was and then it was completed incorrectly requiring return visit. I have never been treated so badly in my life, and in the end had to correct the instal myself. I paid to have job done so I wouldn’t have to do the job. So I’m rather upset I paid a premium for shoody work with terrible attitude.
I’ll never let them set foot in my house again.

From my first experience with Jacob's plumbing, I would recommend Jacob. I had an upstairs condo unit where water was leaking to the neighbor below. Jacob came out quickly in the 9 - 10 p.m. hour to look things over. Ended up that my tenant's child was using too much water to clean the bathroom floor and it was leaking to the tenant below. I had a somewhat similar experience a year ago and it did not go anywhere near as good as Jacob's Plumbing.I trust Jacob's knowledge, ability, and fair pricing.

I found "Jacobs plumbing" to be a top notch and fair priced plumber. He gave me a bid on the project and did not do the "bait and switch" game I have experienced with other plumbers here in Santa Maria, ca.

Our house is about 16 years old and we pay a little extra to have a home warranty for both appliances and systems. Last week we lost water pressure mostly in our hot water. ? The home warranty company sent a seemingly inexperienced and/disinterested technician from a plumbing company I ewont bash here. We showed and explained our issues; he told us he'd order a valve and pressure regulator, and that he had already placed the report. A couple days later I followed up with the warranty company about status only to be told that according to the technician's report, we don't qualify for coverage because we needed our home totally re-plumbed. We explained the tech didn't tell us that version and insisted we get a 2nd opinion. A different plumber was assigned a couple of days ago (Jacob's Plumbing and Heating from Orcutt). Jake was transparent, communicative and had a totally different diagnosis from the first plumber and said our 17 year old water heater needed to be replaced. It was installed today and the problem is fixed! I found a local plumber I trust and had to share!
