    Buyer Beware: Edward was hired for my fix and fill project, but he turned out to be a scammer. He repeatedly requested money via Zelle to "keep things moving," often saying, "you pick it, we will stick it!" Although he promised quality work, he ultimately took my materials and money and vanished. I strongly advise against hiring him. I plan to post warnings on Craigslist once or twice a week, depending on whether he responds to me or returns the materials he took. Feel free to call me for a reference at 720-635-1970 – Ben

    Complete House Remodel

    AVOID THESE GUYS! I would give no stars if that was an option! The quality of work is horrible. They will take you for a long ride and give you nothing but excuses. Materials you pay for disappear and the work will never be finished. I finally fired them after a 12 week remodel job entered its 6th month. They are full of excuses, apologies but not an honest day's work.

    Ed Gonzales did various remodel work on my house. They left the majority of their work unfinished. The electrical and plumbing was not up to code and when alot of plumbing issues started to occur I called a plumber only to find their mistake ended up costing me thousands.

    AVOID AT ALL COST.

    Ed talks a big game, but ultimately it’s empty promises with you left to pick up the pieces when he and his partner Jerry have collected as much money from you as they can. The work is below par and the excuses many. It’s never been their fault for any complications and delays. They’ll buy supplies on your account and return them to make money that way, I have documentation of thousands stolen from me. Avoid at all costs.

    To Whom It May Concern: Negative 10 star rating
    I, Lorena McCollough, made an agreement with Ed Gonzales owner of Jade Renovations LLC, located at 1195 S. Vrain Street, Denver, CO. 80219,(720)-917-8229), to build a house in Costilla County,(S.D.C.R.), Unit J-3, Lot 7319. This contract was made on 09/25/2018 and agreed upon by both parties. Work began in October of 2018 at which time Ed Gonzales excavated and poured concrete footings and foundation walls. He assured me everything was fine and on schedule and that he would need more money for materials. I paid him a total of $30,900.00 with checks that were made out to him personally. Upon inspection of his work done on the foundation I was shocked by the foundation being incomplete and inconsistencies of walls not straight nor being a certain thickness with re-bar not up to specifications. Upon contacting him with my concerns he assured me that it was fixable and that he had an engineer's report verifying his claim to fix the foundation. After ten months of excuses and lies of people working on this problem I decided to have an independent construction company to inspect the foundation that had been sitting since October of 2018. Their assessment of the foundation was that it was not fixable and that the foundation needed to be demoed and started a new. This was also confirmed by a concrete contractor. Even the county inspector who issued the permits stated the he had never saw work like this before. Ed Gonzales was contacted and informed that his services would no longer be needed and told that the monies given to him would need to be refunded on August 6, 2019. When confronted with this information he attempted to say the he had an engineer's report stating that the foundation could be fixed. When he was pressed to provide said document then he changed his story to the engineer only inspected the foundation but would not write a report unless a fee of $1200 was paid. The independent contractor asked for the name and license number of the engineer Ed Gonzales was working with he could not even come up with a name. Since this meeting Ed Gonzales has not produced any form of refund or returned any of my numerous contacts to him. I have proceeded to hire a new contractor and have paid out of pocket over $21,000 to correct his unprofessional work. All of these statements are true with documentation and pictures to show my disgust with Ed Gonzales unprofessional work ethic's and standards of moral conduct.

    I hired Edward Gonzales to remodel a commercial property. Our agreement was that I would pay for the work after it passed county inspection. I had paid him for underground plumbing, electrical, and Hvac. Which he said all passed inspection. When I questioned him why the only signature on the permit was for the underground plumbing, he took my permit and disappeared. Turns out the underground plumbing did pass inspection however it was in the wrong location. Nothing else passed and all had to be redone. Please be aware of this contractor!

    Fraud. Took my money and ran. Avoid at all costs. Ed Gonzales and Jerry Byers started a remodel project for me. Towards the end, right after I paid them over $8k towards a roof replacement, they disappeared.
