Jadore Luxury Homes built an amazing custom home for us on old Hickory Lake. They did everything from the floor plan layout/ builder set of plans to the final touch finishes. This has been an amazing company to work with.

Buyer Beware - Deceptive and Manipulative
Jason got our attention with his beautiful portfolio, pleasant demeanor and affordable prices. My wife and I met with Jason several times about our project before we awarded him the job. Jason was confident that his estimate was more than sufficient since we were providing the design along with all of the materials for our Kitchen and Master Suite remodel. My wife and I secured a loan to finance this project and shared our entire budget with Jason for transparency.
Once the project began it was great seeing our vision come together. The crew was polite and courteous to my family as we were living in the home throughout the duration of the project. I had asked Jason if he could invoice us as each line item was completed however he insisted on bulk billing. This made it unnecessarily difficult to reconcile against the original estimate.
Eventually we realized that Jason had charged us $82K for the portion of the project that was originally estimated to cost $48K!! That is a massive miscalculation for labor considering that my wife and I covered the materials costs. This was alarming considering Jason had only communicated minor changes to the budget (~$5K). Finally we had to ask Jason and his team to halt the project as we were not comfortable with the lack of management he seemed to have over the costs. It was hard to tell if this was poor planning, inattentiveness, ignorance or simply deceptive.
In my line of work I would get fired if I failed to properly communicate and manage the budget of my client. Jason expects to be rewarded. It’s a tough sell.

I had a home addition - over $100,000 that was 'completed' in January 2020. My dissatisfaction is and has been regarding - New roof (no flashing at all) - Added master bath (tiles cracked and grout was crumbling all over the floor) - Added laundry room - The threshold to the exterior has crumbled and has a 1/2" gap allowing air in the house, the exterior door was painted without sealing. Windows from the great room to screened porch (The wall under the new windows had extended cuts in the wall and cracks below the windows in the paneling)
With a new roof put on my home, I was shocked when I saw a leak appear after a few months that destroyed the interior wall by my chimney. I called and he sent someone to 'caulk' it. I emailed Jason about the damage to the wall and also about another leak on the ceiling. All before the first-anniversary date of the completion. I had no response after the first call and botched repair on the roof. I was in the rearview mirror.
I have since discovered huge damage to the floor in my great room. I had a table in the corner and did not notice. As soon as I did I emailed Jason pictures of all of the damages including the entire floor on the north wall chimney area. Someone is now pulling up my wood floor and replacing the subfloor and the entire wood floor.
I called insurance just to check for coverage of the roof. Of course not. They could not justify the leaks as the roof installation was absolutely inferior. He gave me photos of the areas that were insufficient. There was no flashing used on the roof. The chimney cap was not wrapped and sealed properly. There are areas of the roof that were not installed properly connecting one area to another. The areas are sinking. The vents from the attic were not sealed and a 1/4-inch gap remains between the vents and the roof. I emailed Jason again but heard nothing from him. I have a contractor repairing the roof now to the tune of over 50% of the original cost.
I was having no luck with Jason on the bathroom floor so I had it repaired myself. The tiles are cracking again, so I have scheduled someone to pull up the entire floor and level the subfloor.
I'm having someone repair the threshold in the laundry room. Also having to replace the walls in the great room since 2 entire walls are ruined.
I too have reviewed my billing and was charged crazy amounts for a makeshift fence using parts of my old deck and attaching it to 2 other fences. There were hinges and a gate lock - $1000 - What?
I also had 2 cabinets added to my kitchen. I understand one was custom the other was not - $3800 - Again - What?
I was so excited to see all of this extra room and loved the design (that I had designed) and felt comfortable with Jason.
I am 69 years old. At this point, I am having to invest an additional $25,000 in addition to the other work I had done for about $1500.
Very disappointed - I have excellent pictures and a copy of my contract that indicates he uses licensed subcontractors. If they were licensed I feel sure they would know how to do these installations properly. I'm not sure any of the workers were licensed at all. Deciding where to report this company. Yelp reviews - Better Business (they are not members but a registered complaint might help someone in the future.). I am considering an attorney - someone needs to stop this company's misleading claims and inferior work.
