I am not able to recommend this painter. Jaimes Painting wrote a bid of $3,600 to paint a 700-sq-ft apartment with 2 bedrooms. Multiple bids were obtained through BuildZoom and the next lowest bid, with an idential scope of work, was $1,340. When Roberto Jaimes of Jaimes Painting telephoned me after emailing his bid, he wanted to discuss lowering his bid. This was after he learned that I was reviewing other bids which I told him were more compatable with the budget. I felt that his bid was over the top and I do not work with contractors who do not put their best bid forward in the beginning.
