The builder of our home subbed out the duct work to Jakes. The AC didn't work at the start of this summer and it turns out due to improper electrical setup. Our contractor had Jake's Heating and Air come out to fix it. They did so and said they would charge the bill to the contractor since it never worked and since the contractor was the one who sent them.
Well, our contractor has a problem with paying his bills so now Jake's is sending me invoices and saying that I have to pay it simply because the contractor won't pay his own bills. How is it right to just send the bill to someone else since the person who should pay it won't? Them not getting money from the guy who built my home is NOT my problem. That is theirs and they should have worked it out with him.
I feel really annoyed that they would bring me into their problem and tell me I have to pay someone else's bills. I feel it is very unprofessional and they obviously don't care about their customers. I was planning on having them come back to do some more work in the basement but I'll look elsewhere now.
I DO NOT recommend them due to them treating people (myself) like crap.
