By J. J.April 18, 2015Replaced A/C compressor. Later did a tune up and closed off vents in the garage.1 day
We were first referred to Jalco Heating and Air Conditioning when our home was first listed for sale. They were very prompt and professional and did a great job. Once the home sold we called again to have them to do some work requested in the home inspection report. Again, couldn't have been more pleased.
Thank you.

On February 9th, 2017 I purchased a home in Clarksville, TN. The HVAC inspection was done by JALCO Heating and Cooling, owner John Jelinsky. At the beginning of April my AC unit began not working. I went through the contract on my closing documents and found his name, John Jelinsky, as the HVAC inspector. I researched his name and proceeded to call them in regards to figuring out the issue. They came out that day around 6 in the evening. The AC employ of JALCO proceeded to tell me I needed a new AC unit. He looked at it for around 15 minutes using a voltage meter. He called his boss whom I assume was John Jelinsky and asked if I could afford an AC unit at that time. I told him no I couldn't that was a lot of money. He was really nice and told me just give them a call when I had the money. Well a month went by with no AC and it was time for vacation. I went to Florida with my Fiance and 2 sons. Once we got back the house was 91 degrees so I called them again to get a second look. Another guy came out and didn't even do any test. You looked at it and took a panel off the central AC portion of the unit. He then proceeded to tell me the samething. He called his boss, John Jelinsky, and came back with a phone number for financing a new AC unit. Said he has never seen anyone get denied for a new AC unit. It had a business code and everything in which he stated they will know what it was for. He told me to call them and he would wait for the approval. Said it only took 10 minutes. I told him Id rather look around for another loan because typically those places that approve you that fast will have a high interest rate. He said ok just give us a call when you are ready. On 7/14/2017 I went to my church for financial help with the AC unit. $4,000.00 Is a lot of money and they said to use someone they new from another church member to see if you could help any before writing a $4,000.00 check. He came out and looked aorunf the unit for about 45-60 minutes. He told me there maybe a leak but we will not know without testing the system with a nitrogen pressure test. JALCO never mentioned that to me at all and never completed this test. The new AC guys put 205 pounds of pressure in the system and said he would come back the next day to check the pressure. The next day it had 205 pounds of pressure with absolutely no leaks. He said all it was is a loose valve and I had absolutely 0 lbs of Freon in the system and I just needed 8 pounds of it. He put the 8 pounds in the system and I was so happy to have AC again. My fiancé is a stay at home mom and is pregnant with possible twins. Throughout the day it usually get up to 90 degrees. The new AC man was very nice and always informed me of exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and asked for permission every time he did something. After finding out the AC unit actually worked I called JALCOs owner and asked for the owner, John Jelinksy. I proceeded to tell him what happened with his employs and what they did/didn't do to test the unit. I said I will be contacting the BBB. He then started threatening me telling me to go shove that AC unit up my ass and come and find him. Then told me he didn't give a fuck who I was and he was going to fuck me up. There was a lot more things John Jelinksy said that made me uncomfortable. I started texting my hunting buddies to see if they had trail cameras we use for hunting that I could borrow in fear that he would come destroy my AC unit. I don't know where else to go because I feel like he was trying to fraud me over something that didn't need to get fixed especially after I Called him.
