Responded within an hour and very polite. However, he came to look at my fireplace, didn’t test anything, but told me the batteries needed to be changed and the box cleaned. He was here no more than 20 min. Charged me his hourly rate of $85 which I should’ve asked before, but I didn’t think about it. I changed the batteries and cleaned it and it still didn’t not work. I called to ask him to come back and his response was he would not return under the same service call. He said the wires were fine, but he didn’t test anything. So now I’m out $85 for a battery review and I have to find another electrician. I’m more than happy to pay for work done, but when nothing was done and I had to pay $85 for a suggestion, to me that’s poor service. I’m not from Albuquerque, I hope this is not how other services are handled.
