He is the worst contractor i have ever dealt with. Never shows up to work until around 10am leaves at 2pm meanwhile all the wood you have for your project is in your driveway taking up space, 2 weeks now and still not done, says he has a crew but they never show up. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a contractor. He is way overpriced and just not reliable.

By Disgusted H.October 5, 2016Kitchen repairs.$2,90030 daysRead more
My mom hired him to repair her kitchen after a leak required her insurance company to demo half of the kitchen cabinets and the floor.
I could not be more upset with him or his 'service'. He claimed he could lay vinyl flooring. He said he could do Formica counter tops and build cabinets from scratch. It has been one nightmare after another, with him at one point angrily demanding extra payment before he would continue working the job.
The counter tops are not cut correctly. The dishwasher was not installed properly. The vinyl flooring was simply laid on the sub floor. He did not use the adhesive. He ruined $700.00 dollars worth of vinyl flooring by cutting it wrong and even left out a room that was supposed to be floored.
The base boards and quarter round were nailed in to hold the sheet of vinyl in place and he ruined them, filling them with nails. They were brand new.
In the laundry room, there was a side of vinyl that was obviously too short, he nailed a piece of wood over it so that we wouldn't know it was like that at first.
Incredibly dishonest. He left chipped Formica, back splashes that are the wrong length, ill cut wood covered in nails and wood filler to hide mistakes. He was late almost every day he came to work, and he often did not show on the days he said he would and my mom would call him only to find out he was out of the county.
My mom is heartbroken and trying to figure out how to fix everything this 'contractor' has done. Do yourself a giant favor, and hire someone reputable. This person is not.

I paid James $1900,00 deposit to replace a damaged shower stall. Once I received the piece parts, it took a week to get him to start the work. He claimed that he had help, I never saw anyone. He ask for additional money, once the job was started, foolishly I gave it to him. Two of the 3 walls installed, are not properly adhered to the studs. He mounted a seat, that is not properly anchored to prevent it from collapsing when someone tries to sit on it. He further stated when asked, that he had a business license in Richland County, which he does not. He also advertises in the local paper The County Chronicle, so I thought that it was a safe bet, and hire local. That was a mistake. I am now into 8 weeks, and the shower is not complete. It should be a requirement, that only contractors with valid (verified) credentials be allowed to advertise in local publications.
