    Avoid this contractor at all costs. Disorganized and dishonest. We were quoted $12-$15K in labor and $5-$7k in materials for a basement remodel. We were quoted a time frame of 1 month. These amounts did not include items the homeowner was expected to arrange on their own like waterproofing and solid counter tops.

    The reality…$43K+ in charges, 2.5 months of time, countless delays in coming to site and the job is still incomplete. We have no railing on stair case which I believe is a safety issue. We went two weeks without a powder room toilet as his measurement was wrong and the first unit did not fit. The final blow was when the cabinetry Jim measured and ordered had to be returned. In the end he left the latest cabinets in our driveway in boxes and is apparently not installing despite having been paid. Really?? At this point they are uninstalled and we have no idea if they are even correct.
