James Davis Paving

In October 2018 I paid, not financed almost $10,000 for a paved and SEALED driveway. Cracks appeared within a month and I called Mr. Davis with the phone number provided. He came, looked over the problem and said he would come back this past spring. He didn’t come, I callled and still no response. Out of the blue, he showed up last week and said he would be back that afternoon to correct the problem which by now is noticeably much worse with grass coming thru and crumbling. He never came, I called, the numbers now do not connect and unable to leave a message. I also tried his associate Shannon and got a wrong number. I left a positive review after completion of the 2018 job and now see this was a costly mistake. He has not honored his work.

Never do business with this company. They are quick to come out and quote then do shoddy work and won't deal with problems. In addition to not answering or returning phone calls, they use a PO box that is forwarded to and out of state address where they don't pick up the mail. Unless you like throwing money away, do not allow them to do any work.

Hello, I called several paving contractors and got no results on how to fix my water problem when I called James davis paving he gave me a solution and solved the problem with prompt and professional service very prod of my driveway now and highly recommend this company.

I was driving by when I noticed a paving company doing a driveway with asphalt. Well I stop & ask who owned the company because I have a concrete driveway that was done years ago. Well Mr Davis ask 4 my address & ask if when they get done if he would stop by. It was about 4 hours later & Mr Davis had stop by like he promise he would. Gave me a price I couldn't believe.. He removed the bad areas of broken concrete on said he would return in the morning. I tried paying him up front for the work him & his crew had done but he said no. He gets paid when the job is done. My wife & I just sit down to have a cup of coffee & Mr Davis & his crew shows up. Did an outstanding job. He even added us a turn around & a asphalted walkway.. He went above & behind what he said he was going to do. I would recommend him & his crew to anybody.. Thank You Mr Davis..

TERRIBLE! Terrible! He did a large driveway for us in august of 2016 we have problems, he wont call or come back.He also did my inlaws greenhouse parking lot,a very large one and he promised to return to redo it?? Wont answer calls or return. They are out quite a bit of money as we are. He has been reported to the BBB and from what I was told yesterday, he had not called them back either. PICTURES SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS JAMES DAVIS. Signs will be going up as to who did the bad work!

Regret contracting James Davis Paving to pave a 360 foot driveway in Baldwin Borough. From day one, uneven paving and other bad spots that they would come back to repair. Never returned, called the two phone numbers provided and found them disconnected. Shortly thereafter ponding of water, loose stone ,holes. Doesn't respond to mailings. More later I'm still trying. He did work on a driveway in Greensburg. The mix was too dry. They came back to "seal" the driveway. Neighbors said they must have used a "clear" sealant (because it looks like there is none there). The job looks bad since they "sealed it" in about 6 different spots, but not over the entire driveway, so it has a leopard like appearance. Just 1 year after the job was done, other pavers are coming by asking if we want the driveway sealed, that's how bad this looks.
