  We used James Duda Excavating and his work was terrible. We would not recommend him to ANYONE! We hired him to clear some land, put in a driveway and in ground septic system. He knocked down some trees, cleaned up some of the debris, put in half a driveway and completed the septic system then told us he underbid the job and that he was not coming back to "work for free"- this was after he was paid $10,500.00 out of a $12,000.00 quote. (Our building contractor paid him against our wishes) He left us with a complete mess. The driveway was practically unusable and we were getting stuck in it. He said he could have the job done in 3-4 days and it took him about 3 months and even then he didn't finish it. We found out after the fact that he ran up a bill at a local vendor using our address and then we could not get material delivered to us because of an outstanding balance that he owed to the business. When we would call him he would tel us he would come out and then never show up. We turned him in to the Better Business Bureau and he said he told them in writing he would come out and finish the job and he never showed up. Think twice before you consider using this business. I hope this review helps someone else avoid going through what we did.
