Jim Leonard and his Sun Construction team were a pleasure to work with. The job they did on our home came out perfect! I have recommended Jimmy to my friends and neighbors and they have all used Sun Construction over the past few years. All were extremely impressed with the quality and professionalism of Sun Construction. In short, I highly recommend Sun Construction!

My wife and I bought a house from Jim in the fall of 2019. We've have nothing but problems since. Not enough time or space to list them all but I'll summarize. House was not clean when we moved in , we are still finding nails and other debris in the yard. Basement has leaked several times. GFI breakers have tripped from water getting in. Both interior plaster and paint were well below acceptable quality. Doors , trim , hood above stove , hanging lights and stair baluster were not installed straight. Lawn does not drain properly. Multiple pieces of trim and door thresholds have either fallen off or come loose because they were not installed properly. Had to install a $2500 water filter because of sulfer smell in water within 1 year of moving in. Fan in master bath does not operate properly. It does not clear the steam from the room and also was dripping water into bathroom. After 4-6 visits they were able to get it to stop dripping but it still doesn't clear steam. Jim has ignored requests to adjust this. Tile work in bathroom is sub par, not even close to flush. Siding is James Hardie - pre finished. When installing they ignored manufacture recommendations and caulked all butt joints, leaving me a year later with a house that looks like it got shot with a paint ball gun. Jim is slow to respond to issues if he does at all. When he does respond he generally just makes excuses and tries to convice me that his poor quality construction is normal. Needless to say , I'd avoid buying a house from him. "
