    Ground up construction of two commercial buildings
    $1,800,000

    Stay as far away from James Henson as possible. He took over one million dollars from me to perform ground up construction for two commercial buildings. He then abandoned the job, filed for bankruptcy (bankruptcy number 6:19-bk-12350-SY), and left most of the subcontractors unpaid and threatening to place liens on my property. I had to pay the subs monies I had already paid Henson for the work they performed. In addition, much of the work performed by Henson was incorrect. In short, Henson created a disaster of problems with the uncompleted construction, took 97 percent of his profit up front, performed about 10-15 percent of the construction work, and then walked out. He also falsified signatures on Unconditional Waivers and Releases on Final Payments so that he could get paid. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Contractor's Board. Avoid the nightmare and stay as far away from Henson as possible!
