By Tomas H.May 17, 2024Installation of new HVAC unit$3,900
Jarrett Spencer is a scammer. On September 28, 2022 they came in to my house to install a HVAC unite that never worked properly yet. I called several times and text him and never showed up to fixe the bad installation that their technician made and noise on compressor. His blocked my number to receive my calls or text from his contact. I went for Small Claims Court to claim my money back but it was unable to service Summons, he never answer. I will keep looking forward to see him in Small Claims Court. You don't do business with that company and Mr. jarrett M. Spencer as well.

By Michael T.January 27, 2023Install a new heating and air-conditioning system.$4,500
I had GFWHVAC install a new heating and air-conditioning system for me. They did an excellent job, and I’ll be recommending them to all of my family and friends.

By TammySeptember 29, 20223 HVAC UNITS INSTALLED$13,000
This guy is a complete scammer. I cannot fathom anyone who rated him 4-5 stars as being anything other than a relative or his own pseudonym. Improperly installed HVAC system in my home and was paid for services I never received. Refused to come back to repair the damage. Hired a reputable company who verified it was a horrible mess, my AC was never even connected. Had to pay an additional ~10k in repairs and take out an extended warranty that cost another 6K. RUN FROM THIS CON ARTIST.

By TatianaJanuary 30, 2022Fix AC$1,500
working with Mr. Spencer was great .
He communicated well . our AC went out Jarrett came by in a very timely matter found the problem right away and fixed it it’s pre-existing condition but didn’t stop there not only did he replace the capacitor but came back the next day on his time and dime to put on an additional piece that will help save on the electricity bill and will also help increase the longevity of the new capacitor if I ever had heating or AC proms in the future Jarret will be getting my business strongly recommended. -

By josephcelesteJanuary 27, 2022Replacement of HVAC system$3,500
I almost did not use Mr. Spencer for our HVAC replacement based on the reviews, but I brought this to his attention and he addressed the issue. Contrary to the other reviews, he answered the phone every time I called him. He communicated early if his crew was not going to be on time and gave an updated time. Once on site they performed the replacement in a timely manner. His tech forgot to relight the pilot on our hot water tank and the next day he sent his tech out to service it immediately even though it was not his direct responsibility. I waited a few weeks to submit this review to make sure that no issues remained unresolved, but our HVAC system works perfectly and at the best piece offered by 4 other contractors. I'd highly recommend Mr. Spencer at least the opportunity to bid your job. Thank you!

By Valerie H.January 10, 2022A/C and Heat$3,500
I called Jarrett Spencer for heat and air in my home. He answered all my questions and provided me a great price. Cheapest quote I got from anyone and all my equipment came right out the box from the company they use. Job was done same day and they cleaned up afterwards with taking old equipment too. I will be referring him to family as well. Thank you!

By KenAugust 24, 2021AC Install$2,400
I'm rating this guy 0 stars... He is a crook. Nuff Said. Out 2400 bucks for an AC install and it stopped working after 1 month. The compressor was not bolted to the base of the unit. My AC unit littery tore itself apart. Will not return calls.

By Kenneth R.June 1, 2021replace HVAC$3,000
Ok, I have to concur with all the above Reviews. I got burned by this guy. The old adage "you get what you pay for" really applies here. Fell for the low price. I had to get a reputable Hvac guy in here to repair all the mistakes and poor installation from JS. Cost another $950 just to repair JS and his helpers mistakes. When I called JS to report the problems, he never answered the phone. He's a nice guy and I wanted to trust him, but sadly he's no good. Please avoid this guy at all costs...

By Kelley B.June 1, 2020Install HVAC$2,500
I answered a craigslist ad to have an HVAC system installed for $2500. The first red flag was when they didn’t come the day they were supposed to. The second red flag was that they showed up at 1:40 in the afternoon. The third red flag was that they asked for a lighter, tools and Band-Aids repeatedly while they were working on my system. Next we literally had to leave the house for a good hour or so because smoke was coming through our vents. At around 10:30 PM that night they were still not able to get the system up and working. Their boss, Jarrett Spencer, assured us he would personally come the following day and fix it himself. The next day came and went and he promised he would come out the following morning. Then, like everyone else has experienced, he no longer answered any texts or phone calls. Upon further investigation, it turns out he sent us a fake license and insurance document. Also, surprise! Jarret Spencer has a criminal and civil history a mile long in Clayton County.I will not stop until this con artist is no longer able to scam others and he repays me for all this trouble. Please join our Facebook group at “scammed by Jarret Spencer HVAC.” There is strength in numbers. Let’s get this crook off the streets and in jail where he belongs!

By CandyMay 6, 2020AC Unit$2,550
This guy is a scammer. I paid him $2700 for a new AC unit. The unit stopped working the next day. Same as everyone else. He's not returning my phone calls or messages. I wish I had found this site before hiring this CON ARTIST.

By AnonymousMay 9, 2019HVAC INSTALL
Con Artist. Exact same thing happened to me. I had a reputable contractor come out to fix his botched install (after he was not responding to me), and the findings were eye opening. The system was illegally wired and leaking, and he installed an incorrect zone board that I paid extra for. My neighbor also used him, and had the same issues, including a leak so bad, her wood floors were ruined. She was able to recoup her money from AMEX (she filed a charge dispute within 60 days).

By Catherine O.February 12, 2019HVAC$2,650
They came to install heat and air...it never worked. I called, emailed, and messaged several times on facebook....no one would respond. I now am at the point where I have to file in small claims court...to try and recoup what I have lost. They also messed my electrical up on my house. DO not use these people. Very unprofessional and careless.

This guy is a scum bag. First time guy didn't show, Jarrett said "I was too busy to write down your address, you should have texted it to me." Should have known then. I have an old Trane 1200XL which needed a few pounds of R22. He said he had R22 on the truck, when the subcontractor arrived, he only had R407C. Jarrett said it was fine to mix R22 with R407C, but mixing will ruin your system as R407C won't bind to the mineral oil in R22 and will quickly develop sludge in you system, and it's unlawful per the 609 EPA rule. Paid the $75 trip charge for nothing - scumbag - avoid.
