A NO-STAR rating: He is the worst, most unreliable imposter of a contractor. He employs unskilled, unknowledgeable people who show up once a week and stand around looking at their cell phones and make very little progress. He can't read architectural plans, and thus screwed up the dimensions of the bathroom. It took him 7 months to do a kitchen and bath renovation. At the end of the 7th month, we fired his ass and had to hire another carpenter, plumber, and electrician to finish the job. After the first month, He stopped showing up on the job site. He uses the money you pay him for other peoples' projects. For example, we gave him money to order the custom windows and he sat on that order for a month before ordering, causing a huge delay. The windows he installed leaked. He refused to get a floor guy to the site in a timely fashion, causing further delay. The plumber he sent to our project screwed up so many things (didn't install the shower faucets and drain in tub correctly, installed the dishwasher so that it stuck out an inch beyond flush (we had to point that out to him), couldn't figure out how to install the tap faucet in the kitchen sink, and on and on). We were without a kitchen for 8 months! If you hire him, be prepared to hire a lawyer...you'll need it.
