Sione Koloamatangi cashed a down payment check for $2,826.25 in February, but has continually failed show up on days he said he (or anyone else) would, has dodged both direct messages and certified mail, and finally forced us to file official complaints with the Utah Department of Commerce - Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing, as well as the Better Business Bureau. I don't want anyone else to get burned by this company - Sione will NOT communicate with you, will dismiss you if you are a woman (while calling your male partner "boss"), and will NOT come through with the promised work. To reiterate - Sione has enjoyed our nearly $3,000 down payment for nearly five months, and has done ZERO work; all while dodging us, obfuscating, and placating our concerns (while doing nothing). If you consider doing business with Jay Concrete and Constructions, do NOT pay a down payment.

In June of 2021 he replaced our existing concrete driveway. They mismanaged the concrete pour and ended up adding a lot of water at the job to the concrete mix because the concrete was starting to setup in the truck. I had Sione give me a two year warranty as result, knowing that the added water would make the concrete surface fail in the winter. The surface has failed and Sione will not honor the warranty that he signed.
