We hired John “Jay” Gramlick as a contractor for work on our home. Unfortunately, the work we paid for was not completed.
We filed a civil complaint in Delaware County, PA. On September 15, 2025, the Magisterial District Judge entered judgment in our favor, awarding us $1,500. The official docket sheet (publicly available) reflects this outcome.
Because of this experience, we cannot recommend Mr. Gramlick’s services.

I hired Jay Gramlick for a new kitchen and bathroom. I noticed the crown on the cabinet was broken, and he insisted that he could color it in with a crayon and no one would ever know. Everyone who walks in my house asks how the cabinet was damaged in that spot. The stove sticks out 4 inches past the countertop. The microwave sticks out because it wasn't set properly. People comment on how far they stick out too. The hand hose in the tub sticks out because Jay didn't hook it up correctly. He also hung folding doors in my basement leading to the laundry room and they have fallen off since day 1. He lacks attention to detail and integrity. He intentionally ordered $540 of extra flooring for my basement because he was going to return it for store credit but I caught him so I returned the flooring. Don't use jay for anything.
