I BEGGED the company to come and remove the giant creosotes that had taken over my desert land. Incredible fire danger was causing me to live in fear. Most of them were taller than my house! No possible way a human could remove them. It had to be a dozer. I had contacted many many companies and nobody would do it. I begged more.
Anyway the job was pushing over giant creosotes out of soft sand and silt and then loading into a trailer. Many MANY trips to the landfill. I also had a giant pile of old firwood. That was even worse. Much more wood than I remembered bringing in aka hoarded.
So with enduring 2 flat tires on the trailer, heat and seemed to be forever creosotes to dig up, he stayed focused and finished. His one way trip was 80 miles too. I cannot remember if it was 4 or 5 days he was here...
I was blessed to find him and hire him. John cleared my land completely and if a wildfire had run rampant through the area then it would have not touched my home or horses. He worked very hard and I paid him much more than the amount we agreed on. He deserved it.
