Jbk Contracting

I was looking for someone to clean out a basement. J.B.K came and cleaned out the basement in a timely and professional manner. I also needed old hot water boiler and pipes removed which they did as well. I was very satisfied with the work they did.

THEY (JBK) ARE TERRIBLE!!!!! I had a roof fixed on my home & they did terrible! Also, the price was high, their service is bad! They cleaned nothing up! I really hope somebody takes this guy to court, because it's unfair how he rips people off!! They are TERRIBLE! But, it gets better! All the people that give good reviews is his family my attorney told me (snookumz0810) is his wife!! I truly cannot wait to have him in court! I filed the papers last week. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY!! Its people like this that make good contracts look BAD!!

Hi I am just leaving an update about JBK Contracting. They had came to my home and had totally remodeled my home and it looks just as great as it did the day I had built it. I can not be more happy or proud of the owner of the company, Mr. Lloyd Crites. I also would like to thank Lloyd for the Senior Citizen discount that he gave to my wife and I. They really treated us good and I could not be more proud of Lloyd and his employee's. I would STRONGLY recommend JBK Contracting for all of your home improvement needs....

BEWARE! Contacted Butch to do work on our chimney to repair a leak that was entering the house we purchased. Stated work was done but we still had water entering the house and problem got worse. He stated for two months that he would be back but needed to wait until a warmer day. Those came and went. He gave excuse after excuse including two deaths in the family. Hired someone else to repair the work and I about fell over when I saw the pictures- He hadn't even done anything on the back of the chimney!!!!!!! There was an inch gap from the chimney to the roof that he didn't bother with. Let him know that we had pictures and we wanted our money back- then he stated that the site was down and he filed for bankruptcy. Lucky for me I know the laws with that and happen to have a good attorney. So I will be taking all the emails, texts and photos in this week.

Well just to update everyone looking at JBK contracting to do work for you it has now been since November(it's feb 22nd) still no call or response from Jbk, not even a phone call to me as the customer about the mess and none completed work they left at my house that they have been paid for already. They have destroyed the front of my home and took my money. To all you consumers I would not recommend this contractor at all.

Update on JBK, Last time JBK was at my home to do any work 11-5-11, so it has been over 2 months nothing from JBK or Lloyd Crites. So nothing from JBK Contracting or Lloyd Crites since 11-5-11 when they took another payment which is 75% of the contract fee for the work with only 30% of the work done. Now all the sudden 1-6-12 I get a text, NOT a phone but a TEXT from Lloyd Crites better known as Butch says that he is out of Business and filing Bankruptcy. So for all you who are looking for a Contractor I DO NOT RECOMMEND JBK CONTRACTING. They will take your Money and run.

Update on Jbk. Over another week has passed which has now been over 5 weeks for a job Lloyd Crites said would takes 4 days and no return calls from Lloyd or has any of his workers showed up to complete work he has already been paid 75% of the money for the job and only about 35% of the work has been done. It's really bad when you hire a contractor and they don't return your calls or have they been out to do any work in over 3 weeks. I would NOT recommend anyone hiring this contractor for any job you may have.
To include due to him not completing my concrete steps or walkway and not having any easy way to walk up to my house my mother in law slip and fell. Likely she was not hurt, but this does seem to matter to this contractor.

I am a home owner that hired JBK to do some work. I signed the contract and immediately afterwards within 2 days they where at my house starting. They told me e job would take about 4 days to complete, we are now 4 1/2 weeks into it and the job is still not complete and now I am not receiving any return calls from jbk. They have taken my money and has not returned in about 2 1/2 weeks. Very bad business and I would not recommend to anyone. Don't not hire.

I am a current customer and jbk was hired to do a job at my house. They came immediately after signing contract started the job and then rook my money after 1/3 of the job was completed and has not returned. The job in which they said would take 4 days is now 4 1/2 weeks is still not done. They are not returning my calls or anything. Very very bad company and I would never recommend them to do any contracting work for anyone based on this experience..

Hello just wanted to let the rest of the people out there that are thinking about choosing j.b.k. contracting for there projects.
they are great they just finished up with my house yesterday and it looks like the first day i had it built back in 1975.
they replaced my roof that was a nasty one and other contractors didnt want to touch it but these guys did great in a quick time.
that also rebuilt my rear porch that been falling down for 20yrs and now looks great and now i can sit out side and enjoy my new porch with my grandkids and just relax...

Hello, I just wanted to let ppl know that j.b.k. Contracting is one of the best contracting companies I had a pleasure working with. I contacted them & got friendly & respectful responses I agreed to have them come to my home to give me a quote on the work I was requesting & they gave me a great estimate I just couldn't refuse. After 3 other estimates from other companies I couldnt refuse j.b.k fair & low estimate they were there the following morning ready to work. The whole crew from this company who worked so hard on my home were all so friendly & did an awesome job remodeling my kitchen & bathroom I strongly recommend j.b.k. Contracting to anyone who is looking for fair quotes & great quality.they not only do a great Job but take pride into their work. I will for sure be hiring them again in the near future to do the rest of the remodeling I would like done In my home....I am very satisfied with the remodeling that was done In my home by j.b.k. Contracting & their crew....

hello to whom it may concern j.b.k. contracting worked on my home in bellvue pa

i called them with in hours they were at my home with nothing but respect and friendly service so we walk around showed them what i wanted done and they gave me a price that was better then 5 other contractors i contacted in the past week so we signed up the job.

the next morning the owner and his crew was here and they gave my home a beautiful makeover.

the guys were fast friendly and the job was done in a succesful manor

so when i need work in the future i will be contacting them again thanks....
