I hired JC One Roofing Co. owner, Jose Carlos Orellana. I signed the contract (so Jose signed as well); and I made deposit for re-roofing. Later, the owner, Jose called and said, they may start my roof next morning and he will call me the next morning between 7am-7:30 am before they left (about 40 minutes away) so I could make sure I had my gate open for Jose. Next morning Jose called at 8:15 am and said he was at the house. I was about 40 minutes away because he did not call and said he was on his way. So I told Jose that it will take me about 40 minutes to open the gate so he can start the work. When I got to the job site (my house) Jose was gone. I set up the ladders and open the gate and keep calling Jose to see where he was and when he would be at my house. Finally, he answered my call and said that he wanted to cancel the job /contract. He wanted twice as much money as the original contract price he agreed to and signed. Now I had to find a new roofer to fix my roof and I am in the middle of the rainy season. I hope my temporary tarps hold up from these high winds that are predicted to hit my house in two days. Jose has left me wet and stress out. I would not recommend JC One Roofing Co to anyone.
