    295 W Weisheimer Rd

    Hired Gene Skinner and JCF to remodel my upstairs of cape cod home in Old Beechwold, to turn into master bed and bath. 25% deposit was required before beginning project, and a flat price of $20,000 was bid to complete all work.

    Structural issue was identified by JCF on first day. Work was halted after two days. Mr Skinner came back a month later with an additional quote far in excess of what I had determined reasonable. I terminated the relationship and hired a second contractor to complete work. JCF then billed me for the work that was completed, totaling over $4000 for the two days work.

    Forced to take him to small claims court where we won the case in Franklin County Courts. I was forced to get a lien on his bank account but to this day I still have not been paid in full.

    He also called code enforcement on my new contractor. In court proceedings he admitted to not being aware of Ohio Law with regard to General Contractors and also admitted that he did not feel he needed to follow the laws he was found to have broken.
