JDP Construction

I recently contracted JDP to replace my roof, Mike was outstanding when it came to explaining the process and keeping me aware during the steps. They showed up when indicated and completed the job in a timely manner, with final inspection signed and documented. There was no hidden extra cost; the price was right and fair. I would highly recommend they for all your roofing needs. Ms. Shelly

Have been waiting close to a year for them to repair a shoddy job. Have been given promises by Eric their salesman and Peter their contractor numerous times with no shows and no contact. The owner John refuses to even call or acknowledge any responsibility. BEWARE of this legal(?) con-artist..

JDP Construction did my roof in May of 2016 and now the flat roof section of the house is leaking all over the place. I have made several attempt to contact them and still no resolution. Now, I'm being told to call Larry directly but he have not respond to me. They stated that they are extremely business because of the hurricane but that does not justify me not getting anyone out to my home. My ceiling is getting damage because of their bad job, this is going to add additional expenses on me. I will never use them again.

Complete scammers. My driveway failed inspection due to being 1.5" to thin. They didnt pay the concrete supplier so they liened my house and are leaving me to get an attorney to solve the issues....Steer clear folks!!

The company completed our stamped concrete driveway and all seemed great until the inspection. They ignored all the letters sent to them by the city telling them of their wrongdoing. Finally the city started sending the letters directly to me!

It's a shame that the person who physically did the work did not follow the specifications that the company put on the permit. Now, just like others said in their comments, either no one answers the phone & if they do, they use stall tactics. Now, me as the homeowner is stuck dealing with the city & avoiding liens on my property.

One of the worse companies I have ever dealt with. Put on a porch and roof has leaked for years. Contacted several times at first were responsive then just quit answering calls and texts. Would never use again and have told several people looking for contractors to never use them.

Home Owners BEWARE!!!! This company is AN UNETHICAL BUSINESS!! We had put down a deposit since 09/08/16 and then cancelled with 48 business hours! We have yet to receive back a FULL REFUND FOR NO WORK COMPLETED OR STARTED!!! This company needs to be reported to the Department of Professional Business and Regulations of Florida where licenses are being issued!!

I highly recommend finding another contractor. It was a fight the entire process to say the least. The did do good work once it was finally completed. But I wouldn't recommend JDP construction to anyone, they should NOT be in business

Never in a million years would I use these guys again. Sub standard sub contractors who once they have your money are impossible to get back to your property to fix their messes. Over a year on a eurotile patio and stamped concrete driveway and the job is still not completed. Larry Cohen comes to my property and rolls his eyes at the horrible job. In spite of what the salesman may have eluded to they don' perform the job or provide oversight. It is all subbed out sub contractors of apparently limited ability. When they do get back to you they just say what they have to in order to get you off their back for another week. Nearly $12,000.00 on the two jobs and my property is worse off now than it was before. They have been out, have agreed that there are problems and that they will repair their sub-contractors work. It has been over a year. I have lost count of the times that Eric, Larry and Marjorie have stood on my property and lied to my face.

We hired JDP Construction over 6 months ago for a new stamped concrete driveway for our home. It has been over 5 months since they pulled and received the permit and the driveway is still not complete. Failed inspection,after failed inspection. If you can get anyone on the phone it has been Excuse after Excuse. We have sent them several official communications and have received 0 official response. They have almost all of our hard earned money . The facts are clear and you can see for yourself on the City Of Plantation website as part of the public website. Look up permit number B14-01633 and see for yourself. Based on our negative and still ongoing experience with this " company" I would never recommend them.
