    JEC is a great custom builder and very easy to work with on my new construction build .
    We love our home in Franklin county built by JEC .

    I purchased a new build from JEC about 9 months ago. It was an out of state purchase for a primary residence so there was a lot going on for me and lot to keep up on. Thankfully, my builder was easy to communicate and actually was very understanding of my out of state move. I've been living here almost a year and have had a few things come up that needs to be addressed before my one year follow up. They have communicated openly with me regardless of the day or time and they have addressed my concerns and issues within a timely fashion. I have always felt extremely comfortable communicating my concerns. My builder cares about my safety and well being as well as the quality of the home that they built. I'm very pleased with my experience with JEC. Thank you!!

    This is the WORST builder that we have ever dealt with. We have built 5 houses and lived in 7. There were NUMEROUS issues throughout the purchasing process and they cared more about cost than doing things correctly. I guess that I should have known that there would be issues when the builder arrived at our house on the day of the final walk through late because he was attending mediation on another house that he had built. There were issues with the drainage that we had to take care of ourselves because it was too severe to wait, a broken garage door that the builder refused to fix (it came off of the track and fell-no damage from us or anything we could have done-but the builder said that we ran into it-which we did not). There are issues with the spare bathroom where if you don't run the water every three days that the sewer fumes come up into the house (so if you take a 7 day vacation the house is toxic when you return). There were issues with the stove, and the list goes on and on. I guess that we should have known this wasn't a great builder when there is NO information on the internet put there by them. No webpage or anything you can find to see what clients really think.
    But they are just HORRIBLE to deal with. I would not ever purchase a home from this company. I would give them a 0 star if I could.
