I am the home owner for the permit at 102 Ideal Street in Lafayette. I rated him as terrible since that was the lowest rating possible. A RIP OFF artist extraordinaire. House less than half complete after 15 months and walked off the job, because I expected him to fix the shoddy work he and his crew performed at his cost. Damaged moldings and doors, water leaking in the master bedroom and upper deck foyer for months and he told me that was not his concern. Drip moldings that look like they were retrieved from a dumpster. interior moldings and trim that were paid for and never received. Doors that had to be taken back off the walls and reset because they are not level or square, custom cabinets that are not level or square, nor were the doors delivered. A custom set of stairs that was not like anything on the plans, nor would it pass code, so that had to be torn out and completely redone.
I spent 6 months tearing out the trashy work he did to fix it correctly. The house is 40% over budget due to this and still having problems with the code department over his shoddy work.
He ran off to Arkansas, since word is about 6-8 homeowners are after him, not to mention subs, and suppliers that never got paid.
