    Flooring, baseboards, tile the bathroom, install stairs and a front door. None of which is completed

    The quality of workmanship was substandard. They missed every deadline agreed upon without justification or reasons. They left the front door open when sawing just outside the door creating a ton of dust. We had two contractors come out to re-do the work JRG did and each shook their heads and said the work was very poor and it looked like they hurried. We began the project April 25th, 2018. The original scope was to tile the bathroom (we did the demo), lay the vinyl flooring downstairs, install 615 linear feet of baseboard (we removed the old ones), install the front door and 15 stairs along with railing. Steve Jeffers said he could do all this in 3 weeks. We offered to subcontract the flooring to the Floor Konnection where I obtained several samples. He agreed but then, kept bringing samples to me so we went with him. We had a drop dead dated of May 21st to begin moving in and cleaning the duct work. We told Steve, we needed to move in and we are over deadline by a week. He assured us he could be done with the first phase by June 1st. Again, the work was not completed and Steve rushed to put in the toilet so we could have a working bathroom under construction.
    I cannot tell you how disappointed we are in the cracked tile, over spray on our Mahogany doors, over charging and under delivering. We paid him $23,000 and still have no stairs, where he taped and textured, no paint, the pass through is not level at the top and rough. The Baseboards are not flush with the end caps and rough requiring us to pay to have them sanded and re-painted. Steve is a salesman, not a contractor. He hired a wonderful but unskilled helper and did not subcontract to professionals as agreed.
