  On 5/7/2024 Brian Noe and his employee came to replace 3 motion sensor flood lights,and replace 4 motion sensors only on 3 other lights. I supplied the materials. When they were finished I asked to check each light to make sure they all worked before making the payment. Brian asked to wait and check them out in the dark and if there were any problems he would correct them right away. I agreed. That night three of the replaced sensors did not work.

  The next day I called Brian and reported my findings. He said he would be here in the next day or two. Late the second day (Friday) I called to ask why he didn't show up. He said he would come on next Monday or Tuesday. Late Tuesday I called again. This time he said he had badly hurt his back and didn't know when he could get to my house. I recognized this as "made-up" excuses that previous devious contractors had used when they had decided they are not going to compete the work because they already have the money in their pocket. I had to sue in Small Claims Court. I have called Brian several times since but now he doesn't take my calls. They go to voice mail.
  
  I decided to check the problem, dreading it at age 92. I found each sensor was mis-wired the same way. Two of the three wires from the sensor were mis-connected. The yellow power pass-through wire to the lights was mis-connected to the incoming naked ground wire. One of the sensors was left set in the "Test" mode instead of the "Auto" mode. that allowed the power to go directly to the naked ground wire, that probably damaged the sensor. It didn't work at all. I replaced it with a new one, wired it correctly and it worked. I correctly rewired the other two sensors, that had been set on "Auto" mode, and they both worked. I re-did 43% of the total work. I guess it is back to Small Claims Court.
