Jose from JEL Construction was very pleasant to work with up front, but down the line when we noticed issues with water leaking in the basement from the foundation work his team had done, the front stoop broke off after a rain storm, and the vents that were removed in the attic when they did the yellow stucco on the siding, he was non-responsive. As a result of the vents in the attic never being placed back in their perspective space, the house developed black mold, which we hired a professional to remove. Through this process, we had to go stay with other family. When we called and spoke with Jose initially he said he was out of town for 2 weeks in NC and would come by the house to assess the cracked foundation issues, missing vents in the attic, and cracked front stoop, but he never called us or showed up. Now I've been calling for the past week and the business phone is going straight to voice mail. I even text him with no response. At this point, we are filing a complaint with the BBB and court proceedings.
