We contracted with JHStorey in January of 2011 to build our small home. The home was never completed. Justin Haby, the owner of JHStorey never paid for building materials and didn't pay his contractors. As a result we were sued and lost the home to foreclosure. He kept aproximately $70,000 that was meant to be used toward the construction of our home. Poor bussiness management, thef,t not sure which; but he hasn't made any effort to pay us back even after we repeatedly gave him opportunities to do so.

Stay away from this builder!!!! He is a crook and conn artist. We contracted him to build our home and had faith that he would come through for us. He found the perfect storm (5 homes being built at the same time) and took each and every one of the families to the cleaners. He paid off his home and purchased vehicles then declared bankruptcy. Meanwhile, homes were left unfinished with construction draws used for his personal benefit. He knew exactly what he was doing and used us to achieve his financial goals and is protected by bankruptcy laws.
